Position of Order Arms "port Arms" The butt of the rifle rests on the ground, barrel to the rear, toe of the butt on line with the toe of, and touching the right shoe, right hand holding the rifle between the thumb and fingers, left hand as in position of thesoldier without arms.
La plaque de couche du fusil se repose sur le sol, le canon vers l'arrière, le tout au niveau des orteils et au contact avec la chaussure, la main droite tenant le fusil entre le pouce et les autres doigts. la main gauche est en position fixe le long de la jambe.
Being at Order Arms. 1. Present, 2. ARMS. At the command Arms, with the right hand carry the rifle in front of the center of the body, barrel to the rear and vertical, grasp it with the left hand at the balance, forearm horizontal and resting against the body. Being at Present or Port Arms. 1. Order, 2. ARMS. At the command Arms. let go of the rifle with the right hand and regrasp the piece between the upper sling swivel and stacking swivel. (TWO) Let go of the rifle with the left hand, lower the piece to the right so that the butt is 3 inches from the ground, barrel to the rear, left hand with the fingers extended and joined steadying the rifle, forearm and wrist straight and inclining downward. (THREE) Complete the order by lowering the rifle gently to the ground with the right hand. Cut away the left hand smartly to the side. Allowing the rifle to drop to the ground forcibly injures the rifle and is prohibited.
1. Order, 2. ARMS. lors de la commande. lâcher le fusil avec la main droite et ressaisir la pièce entre la bretelle supérieure et le pivot . (2) Lâchez le fusil avec la main gauche, abaisser le fusil vers la droite afin que la crosse repose a 8cm du sol, le canon vers l'arrière, la main gauche avec les doigts tendus stabilisent le fusil, l'avant-bras et le poignet droit sont inclinés vers le bas. (3) l'orde est complet complèté en abaissant le fusil doucement sur le sol avec la main droite. (4) la main gauche revient élégamment sur le côté.
Attention : il est interdit de claquer la plaque de couche sur le sol, cette opération se fait en douçeur..
